Parents Invited to Visit at Band Camp

Camp Burton 2009

- Wednesday, July 28th - This is a great opportunity to visit your kids at Camp Burton and replenish their supplies including some dry clothes!

Of course this is too small to see, click this link to get a large viewable and printable map!

The Music Boosters will have a hospitality table open from 3pm until the band rehearsal begins. All the forms for membership, photo buttons and Home Days volunteer sign-ups will be available at the Band Camp Boosters hospitality tent. Please stop by! Click the map to view a large map suitable for navigation.

Home Days

One of our biggest fundraising opportunities of the year is approaching fast - Home Days!

Dave Cooking
Walking Tacos

The Music Boosters and the Music Dept have a number of booths to staff both days.

All profits will be shared between the department and credits to the student accounts for Disney. Hours worked will include students AND parents time.

Pop booth - the main pop booth is managed by the president of band (Klindworth). Report to the main booth (west side of the bandstand) and some people will be assigned to the satellite booth across the street.

Students in Home Days Parade

Walking Taco and Slushies - managed by Music Boosters Way & Means chairperson (Julie Scotton).

Ride ticket booth - This booth is run by the city but we provide the staffing. (Julie Scotton)

Sign up sheets for all these booths are available at band camp for kids. All squads will work together at their designated time at the pop booth. Other slots are offered by seniority and then first come. The sheets will be available at parent night at band camp.

Calls are being made to Vocal only kids for the Music Booster and ticket booths.

Do You Have What it Takes to be a Coordinator?

We still need a person (or co-chairs) for a volunteer coordinator this school year.

This is a great way to help IN A BIG WAY without having to attend meetings or even work at the events - you just need your phone!

This person would be making phone calls to set up schedules for volunteers for events throughout the year.

People have already "checked off" what events they are willing to help with on their membership forms so these are not "cold calls"!
